Educator feedback on the Discover Barangaroo Lessons has been overwhelmingly positive, the program praised for not only capturing students’ interest but also deepening their understanding of First Nations cultural heritage. Comments from teachers included the following: “My students were totally immersed in the story of Barangaroo herself and loved learning about Aboriginal cultural heritage. The resource sparked the girls’ learning with so much engagement. They were asking so many questions and there was so much deep learning which is why I feel it’s a great product.” —History and geography teacher, Sydney all-girls school, Years 7-10 “I signed up to use the Discover Barangaroo lessons because I am always on the lookout for lesson materials that I can use specifically targeting the First Nations perspectives and culture.
