Empowerment through engagement and education In May 2021, One Sydney Harbour and NASCA officially launched a three- year Shared Value Partnership as part of National Reconciliation Week, focusing on support for young First Nations peoples. NASCA is a 100 per cent First Nations governed organisation that supports First Nations students through high school. It works directly with over 1,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people every year, empowering them to improve school attendance and performance, develop career pathways, strengthen cultural pride and identity and build skills, personal development and long-term resilience. Lendlease and NASCA collaborate to co-create programs and engagement opportunities for NASCA students and the One Sydney Harbour team. The social value of the partnership is tracked and measured to support Lendlease’s broader social investment strategy and offers a wealth of education and volunteer opportunities for our team to better understand how they can support First Nations peoples both personally and professionally.
